KNOXVILLE, Tenn.— First through fifth graders can take a spring break adventure at Knoxville Zoo’s Camp WILD. Campers will learn all about the animals that live at Knoxville Zoo with new activities every day. With animal visitors, crafts, and tours through special areas of the zoo, Camp WILD will be an unforgettable spring break experience.
Camp WILD attendees can tailor their camp schedule to their spring break plans and attend for just one day or for an entire week Camp WILD programs are especially designed to meet the needs, interests and expectations appropriate to each age and developmental stage.
Registration is required. Camp Wild is held at Knoxville Zoo March 16-20 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. daily. Campers should bring a sack lunch and the zoo will provide a drink. The cost for Knoxville Zoo members is $125 for the week or $45 per day. Non-members will pay $135 for the week or $50 per day. Knoxville Zoo’s Education Department reserves the right to cancel programs with insufficient registration. Full refunds will only be given for program cancellations. Knoxville Zoo is located off exit 392A from Interstate 40 and is open every day except Christmas Day. The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is committed to the highest standards in animal care and well-being, ethics, conservation, and education. Currently, the zoo is open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Admission and ticket sales stop one-hour before the zoo closes.
