KNOXVILLE, Tenn.— Are you searching for an unique and adventurous summer job? Find out how to bring out the work animal in you by attending Knoxville Zoo’s annual job fair on Saturday, February 21 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Knoxville Zoo is looking for friendly and energetic people who are interested in working for a good cause. Applicants may be 15-years-old for positions in certain areas, but most positions require employees who are 16-years or older. Seasonal positions are available in gift sales, admission, education programs, security, membership sales, rides and concession areas. Weekend and holiday hours are required, but employees will not be required to work nights.
To attend Knoxville Zoo’s job fair, visit the Fort Sanders’ Ranger Station located to the right of the zoo’s ticket booth, for directions to the Zoo’s Conference Center. First round interviews will be conducted on the spot for seasonal positions. Some seasonal staff hired will begin work as early as the first week of March; others hired may start on staggered schedules as required.
