KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- All children love to look at and touch big trucks. Bring your little one to Knoxville Zoo
to see a variety of big trucks and machinery on Saturday, May 17. The vehicles will be available along the zoo
pathways from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
See and touch trucks as tall as giraffes, as big as elephants and as fast as cheetahs. Children and guests of all ages
will have the opportunity to see the vehicles up-close and meet the personnel who are the specialists that
operate each.
Knoxville Zoo will host vehicles from Stower's Machinery Corporation, city and local emergency vehicles,
as well as military vehicles and a few others.
Knoxville Zoo is located off exit 392A from Interstate 40 and is open every day except Christmas Day.
The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is committed to the highest standards in animal care and well-being, ethics, conservation, and education. Currently, the zoo is open
weekdays from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on weekends from 9:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Admission and
ticket sales stop one-hour before the zoo closes. Next-day admission is free after 3 p.m. For more information,
