KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- Children who join Knoxville Zoo for a summer of excitement during ZooCamp will experience a wacky and wonderful time. With engaging activities and burrowing treks each day, the Toadally Bloomin' ZooCamp experience is one your children will not forget.
Each zoo camper will experience a week-long program especially designed to meet the needs, interests and expectations appropriate to his or her age and developmental stage. Children will learn about the animals at Knoxville Zoo through crafts, animal tales, songs, visits with a different animal each day and experience behind the scenes tours of special areas of the zoo.
Registration is required. Spots are still available for Preschool ZooCamp for the weeks of May 26-30 and June 2-6; First Grade ZooCamp still has openings for the weeks of June 2-6, June 30-July 4 and July 21-25; and Fourth/Fifth Grade ZooCamp has spots available for the weeks of July 21-25 and July 28-August 1. Knoxville Zoo Education Department reserves the right to cancel programs with insufficient registration. Full refunds will only be given for program cancellations. Knoxville Zoo is located off exit 392A from Interstate 40 and is open every day except Christmas Day. The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is committed to the highest standards in animal care and well-being, ethics, conservation, and education. Currently, the zoo is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on weekends from 9:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Admission and ticket sales stop one-hour before the zoo closes.
