KNOXVILLE, Tenn.— Knoxville Zoo is one of Santa’s helpers this holiday season! Santa is busy getting ready for the holidays and has asked Knoxville Zoo to look after his reindeer before their annual trip on Christmas Eve. Stop by Knoxville Zoo between Thanksgiving and January 2009 to see some of Santa’s favorite reindeer friends. Good little girls and boys can even have a photo* taken on Santa’s sleigh in front of the reindeer exhibit.
Favorite stories and new ones, too, Reindeer Tales is fun and new. Join us for a tale of reindeer each Thursday in December before Christmas at 11:00 a.m. in the Pilot Special Exhibits Building. Reindeer Tales is free with zoo admission.
Santa himself will even make a few appearances at Knoxville Zoo this holiday season. Santa will be available for photos* with the reindeer Fridays through Sundays in December.
Santa will also make a special appearance at Knoxville Zoo’s Breakfast with Santa* on Saturday, December 13 and 20. Enjoy a hot yummy breakfast with the jolly old elf, crafts, games, a special gift, and the chance to tell Santa their wish lists for the holiday season. Breakfast with Santa offers four seatings to choose from including: 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13 and 20. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Knoxville Zoo is located off exit 392A from Interstate 40 and is open every day except Christmas Day.
