Take this opportunity to create magical charm for the children of East Tennessee with an animal on the zoo carousel located in The Clayton Family Kids Cove.
 
 

Giving Opportunities

Choose a Chariot

$10,000 will bring the magic of a carousel ride to the zoo's small and physically challenged riders in one of two accessible chariots.

 

Opt for an Animal

$7,500 will put your favorite animal and your name on the Carousel.
 

Become a Friend of the Carousel

Make a donation and become a friend of the Carousel.

 

Along with your contribution toward a chariot or carousel animal, you will receive:

• A recognition plaque on the animal or chariot.
• 200 free carousel rides!

Animals and chariots still available that will be set into motion to a thrilling cacophony of music, lights and mirrors include:

• Camel
• Chariot
• Gorilla - 2 available
• Ostrich
• Pig
• White Rhino

Become a Friend of the Carousel 

The Carousel at Knoxville Zoo has 30 animals, two chariots, sparkling lights, brilliant colors, and memorable music.  Many generous supporters of Knoxville Zoo have sponsored over half of the animals and chariots.  Here's where you come in - we are offering an opportunity to support the Carousel at several levels; all contributions are tax deductible.
 
Where do you want to ride...opt for an animal ($7,500 payable over two years), choose a chariot ($10,000 payable over two years), or help with the Carousel at the $1,000, $500 or other level?

Animal and Chariot Sponsors receive:

• A recognition plaque on your animal / chariot and your name commemorated on the gift recognition sign located beside the Carousel
• 200 free rides and acknowledgement in Knoxville Zoo's Wild Wonders magazine

Contributors of $1,000 or more receive:

• Acknowledgement as a charter member of the Friends of the Carousel with your name commemorated on the gift recognition sign located beside the Carousel
• 20 free rides and acknowledgement in Knoxville Zoo's Wild Wonders magazine

Contributors of $500 - $999 receive:

• 10 free rides and acknowledgement in Knoxville Zoo's Wild Wonders magazine

Contributors of less than $500 receive:

• Acknowledgement in Knoxville Zoo's Wild Wonders magazine
