Party Information
Birthday parties are available most Saturdays and Sundays all year long and take place in the News Sentinel Birthday Party Place. Parties last an hour and a half. A party consultant runs the party from set up to clean up.
After the party, you and your birthday party guests can visit the zoo. If the weather is too bad to visit the zoo, you and your guests will receive passes to come back another day.

Invite an animal to your birthday party for $40 more! Animals that enjoy visiting birthday parties include small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.
Do you have a group larger than 20 people?
If more than 20 people would like to attend the party and stay to visit the zoo, there will be an additional charge of $10 per child and $8 per adult.
