Exactly! Let us make teaching easier for you. Knoxville Zoo can be a tremendous resource. Take a field trip to our Zoo Classroom and an Education Specialist will give you an up-close and personal look at some of our friends from the Animal Kingdom! Get ready for a hands-on, feel good time! Some of our teaching tools include biofacts and/or live animals, so come prepared for sensory overload!
With a variety of classes available to students of all grade levels and abilities, the zoo can really be your Ultimate Teaching Tool. Let us use our zoo’s resources to provide a rich and unique contextual base from which to enrich your learning experience. Along with complimentary teacher resource packets, our programs help your classes fulfill Tennessee State Standards and meet T-CAP and Gateway Objectives across the curriculum!
Pricing and Reservations:
- The program fee is just $1.00 per person (front gate admission is separate).
- Reservations should be made at least 3 weeks in advance.
- 1 chaperone is required for every 10 students; 1 chaperone is admitted FREE for every 10 students.
