Research
Knoxville Zoological Garden is very active in Conservation and Research projects. We seek to facilitate students and professional researchers as well as zoo staff interested in research projects that contribute important knowledge about a particular species, aid in the captive management of an animal, and the preservation of wild populations.
Research is a necessary component for institutions to make good conservation and management decisions. We look forward to assisting researchers interested in animal management, conservation, exhibition, education, and recreation.
