Knoxville Zoo is currently seeking a part-time Keeper I (20 hours per week, no benefits) to work with the red panda collection, marmosets, program animals, and any animals and duties associated with seasonal exhibits in the Pilot Traveling Exhibits Building. Responsibilities include animal husbandry, area maintenance and interacting with guests.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum high school diploma, excellent communication skills, and ability to work with all varieties of animals, large and small, scaly, furred, feathered or finned, warm or cold-blooded, two, four, six or eight-legged. Candidates must possess a valid Tennessee Driver’s License and have the ability to work holidays and weekends and potentially more than 20 hours per week.
