The offering includes paintings by black bears, chimpanzees (with special pieces by young George), gorillas, elephants, African painted dogs, meerkats, beavers, otters, lions, tigers, penguins, red river hogs, rhinos, donkeys and baboons as well as unique collaborative works by multiple animals. One-of-a-kind hand-painted items will also be available.
Guests will also have the chance to see some of the artists at work when the zoo's African elephants debut a new painting technique for event-goers. Zoo staff will also give guests the opportunity to watch a special training session at the all new Valley of the Kings exhibit featuring the Ann and John Schaad Lion Courtyard, and special enrichment demonstrations with the zoos marmosets and meerkats.
