Clayton Safari Splash 
Clayton Safari Splash is now open!
At 5,000 square feet, it is the largest splash pad in Knoxville. It includes play areas that will appeal to everyone from toddlers to teenagers, and there's even an area for the entire family to enjoy a little water fun.
In a stroke of design genius, the play area features two life sized "giraffes" that spout water when kids work together to direct the flow.
We've got to confess, we think that's pretty cool. It also has water hoops and loops, team sprays and colorful larger than life water flowers.
And to really sweeten the pot, all of this fun is
INCLUDED with your zoo admission - OR if you're a zoo member, it's included with your zoo membership - so you can play all summer long!

Camel Rides
Kids and adults can hop on the back of a camel and enjoy riding these "ships of the desert." Camel rides are a seasonal attraction.

Carousel Rides
Open daily, weather permitting.
$1 members
$2 non-members
$5 wristbands good for unlimited carousel rides on the date of purchase.
Animals in Action Show
Sit down, relax, and experience beautiful birds (and some surprise guests too) from all around the world for free. These interesting creatures will help our trainers show you how they live, who makes a great pet, and who doesn't. Some of our feathered friends may even fly only inches from your head! You may even meet
Einstein, an African gray parrot with quite a vocabulary!

Education Stations 
Watch for Knoxville Zoo staff wearing Zebra striped buttons throughout the park. These folks have biofacts and super interesting animal knowledge to share! What are biofacts? Biofacts are those things found in nature that came from an animal which we can use to learn about the animal such as bones, teeth, hair, horns, etc. So, on your next visit to the zoo, look for the zoo staff wearing zebra striped buttons and learn something new!

Keeper Chats are currently closed for the season. Please check back for updates!
Do you want to get to know some of the animals that call Knoxville Zoo home? What better way than to chat with a zookeeper! Keeper chats are a great way to learn about your favorite animals and rotate around the zoo. Please check the schedule below for your favorites and come for a visit! Be sure to check the sign at Crossroads in the zoo's plaza for keeper chat updates.
