Zoofari is not only East Tennessee's wildest gala, it's Knoxville Zoo's most important fundraiser. Because of Zoofari and the overwhelming generosity of its supporters, Knoxville Zoo continues to be a community centerpiece - where visitors of all ages and abilities gather to enjoy fun and education in a beautiful setting; where the animals are well cared for; and where vital research and initiatives in preservation and conservation of our wildlife and natural resources are the priority.
Proceeds from this year's Zoofari will help Knoxville Zoo launch a flagship initiative to conserve endangered Malayan Tigers; the rarest tigers in U.S. zoos and among the rarest on Earth. The proceeds from Zoofari also touch every other animal entrusted to the care of Knoxville Zoo by helping to provide enrichment and food for more than 800 animals living at the zoo.
This year, in honor of the Year of the Tiger, Zoofari guests will be transported to Asia, the home of these magnificent cats. The evening will feature a signature cocktail created exclusively for the evening, an elegant dinner, a silent auction that will make you purr, and a live auction with packages as rare as these ghosts of the forest; Malayan tigers.
80's party band Kung Pow returns for a command performance that will keep you catting around until the magic hour of midnight. And in true zoo style, the zoo's animal ambassadors will be greeting guests to make sure we put the "safari" in "Zoofari"!
But tickets, like tigers, are few and exotic, so make your Zoofari reservation today.
