A Cartouche and a Critter

An adorable North American river otter joined the Knoxville Zoo family in April 2011. This one-year-old bundle of energy is our first new otter in over fourteen years. Her companions are named "Maverick" and "Mischief" but she has been waiting patiently for you to name her. Our delightful new addition has a ton of personality and is quite vocal so before you give her a name you will have a chance to meet her and her keepers. A naming sign in your honor will be installed at the otter exhibit.
