In honor of Zoofari's 25th Anniversary, Silver Safari will commemorate the event founders with a nod back to the first safari-themed event in 1988. Guests will experience a beautiful evening beneath the stars on the wild savanna of Africa. The festivities will feature a delicious seated dinner, exciting live entertainment and tempting treasures at unique live and silent auctions - the likes of which may only be found at Knoxville Zoo.

Silver Safari's highlighted animal is the towering giraffe who rules regally over the grasslands of Africa. Funds raised from the evening will advance the giraffe breeding program and bring calves back to Knoxville Zoo for the first time in over nine years. Proceeds will also support the zoo's education, conservation and animal care programs.
