Dear Homeschool Parents:

Welcome to another excellent year at Knoxville Zoo! The 2014 Spring Semester should be an exciting one. Here you will be able to find important information as well as our new schedule. If you have any questions, or would like to be added to our email list, please do not hesitate to call me at (865) 637-5331 x331 or email me at jmoeller@knoxville-zoo.org.

Zoo Membership and New Homeschoolers

Only zoo members will be allowed to participate in Homeschool classes.  If you wish to become a member, contact Carrie Blair at cblair@knoxville-zoo.org or at (865) 637-5331 x364.

If you are not a zoo member, you may have a one-class trial period. Full admission will be charged for entrance into the zoo plus the class fee (K-2 = $4.00 per child / older grades = $6.00 per child).

Should you decide to continue the classes, you can use the admission price you paid toward your membership.

Non-members must also pre-register through the zoo's education department by filling out the Online Reservation Form. Onsite Reservation Form 2014.pdf  Zoo members do NOT need to pre-register.

Necessary Forms

In addition to a zoo membership, all Homeschool students must have the following packet of forms on file in order to participate in homeschool classes at the zoo.  Medical Release Form 2014.pdf

The forms in this packet include:
  1. Medical Release Form
  2. Email List Form
  3. Photo Release Permission / Refusal Form
