Living Large and Small:  Explore the worlds of big and little animals and see how they live.  There will be no parents attending this camp this year.  Your camper must bring a lunch since this is an all day camp, not a half day camp.

Weird and Wonderful:  Can you drink through your nose, breathe through your skin or taste with your feet?  Discover the weird things animals do to get what they need.

Extreme Life:  Explore how habitats shape animals, how they survive harsh conditions and how we mimic them.

Extreme Life: Photo Journalism Take photos and write about what you learn.  Camera required.

Extreme Life: Exhibit Design See what goes into designing and building a zoo exhibit.  Build a scale model.

  July 21-25

Extreme Life: Show Time! Work with some of the Zoo's animal ambassadors to get your conservation message out by writing and performing a skit.

Registration

Registration opens Tuesday, April 22 for Zoo Members and Tuesday, April 29 for non-members.  Registration is required.  To register, please call (865) 637-5331, ext 352 or 371 to
reach the Education Department (Monday - Friday between 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).
  Please have your credit card and membership ID number ready.

Each ZooCamper will experience a program especially designed to meet the needs, interests and expectations appropriate to their age and development stage, so it is important that you follow the age guidelines.  Please do not request to enroll children in other age categories.  Siblings are not allowed to attend with a registered camper.  Children with special needs may require a personal chaperone be provided.  Come to as many camps as you wish.  The age limit for ZooCamp is 14-years-old.

All camps are held at Knoxville Zoo rain or shine.  Programs fill quickly and are on a first-come, first-served basis.  Registration fees are non-refundable.  The Zoo's Education Department reserves the right to cancel programs with insufficient registration.  A full refund will be given for program cancellations.
